The "ANCHOR COURSE"
The Anchor Course has now had a refurbishment and some changes have been made to the original layout. We are always trying to improve the course for your enjoyment and also make it more of a challenge for the better golfer. The course has recently been measured by the E.G.U. and we have a new par and standard scratch for the course. All the tees are now in place and have been remarked as well. This means we have white yellow and red(ladies Tees) in place full time for you to enjoy. The new card has been approved and is at the printers now. See the copy below.
Set in beautiful Worcester countryside the course follows the River Avon and then turns into more open parkland that has been newly planted in recent years. The par now of 64 means a good short game is needed and a great score can be obtained. We like to think the course is a great course for beginners and improvers while still offering a fair test for the more serious minded golfers. A straight game is needed as the rough can prove to be tough. The course has the benefit of being flat and this means the walk is not too straining on the more senior golfer. Please see the card below for the details of the course.
