Established now for 10 years the "Mill Course" is a real test of a golfers iron play and short game.

The course is situated along side the river Avon surrounded by hedges and trees. There has also been extensive tree planting over the past 8 years within the course. Some of the holes feature ditches and can be testing. A great course for all ages as it is flat throughout.

 

A par 3 course measuring approx 1585 yards with holes ranging from 131 yards to a testing 200 yards. All the greens are small and prove difficult to find when the wind blows. The course now has a new card and is now playable in several different ways.

Our new layout is now complete and is accompanied by accurate marker posts and a smart new card. We have posted a picture of the card for you to see.

You will see from the new layout that the course now has yellow and red tees. This means the course can be played off the back tees (yellow over a distance of 1585 yards.) Also off the front tees (red at a distance of 1198 yards.)Each nine hole is a different challenge and has its own stroke index which now allows true match play conditions to be used.

 

We have also added a twist to this and you can play off the blue tees (See card) This is 18 holes of golf using alternate tees yellow and red. This course has its own full 18 hole stroke index as well and produces a combination of short and long holes. The cost of this is just £10 and we think this offers terrific value for money.

 

 

 

We believe this to be a stern but fair test even for good players and not to be mistaken for a "Pitch & Putt" course. It can however prove to be a fantastic course for learning the game on and beginners find it a great compliment to lessons.
