Custom Fitting
The world of golf equipment has changed so much in the last 15 years that if you have not been a part of golf or bought golf equipment you would find it all hard to believe.
We have all seen adverts for every club you can name and the selection and quality of equipment is now fantastic. This is mainly to do with modern research techniques and manufacturing processes that are affordable because they are based in the Far East. The down side of this is the copies that are of poor quality and illegal in many cases.
We are happy to say that our guidance to players of all abilities has already helped people play to their true potential with properly fitted equipment.
Over the past 6 years I have done an awful lot of training and research into club making and fitting. The reason I do this is because along with coaching the person it is important to use equipment that suits the individual. This may seem like an obvious statement but the truth is many golfers of all levels are not using the best suited golf clubs.
I have done most of my training with Golfsmith who I believe at present are the industry standard for independent training of this nature. Along with this I have done the GCA accreditation exams, vector training and snake eyes approved training as a listed fitter.
The staff at Golfsmith have true tour proven knowledge and are always willing to help me should I need it.This backing of knowledge and massive stock of shafts,heads and grips gives me the chance to truly make your clubs fit and play the best they can for you.
I have a real passion for how things work and hopefully carry this into my fitting and making of clubs. I also research and test products so I can at least give you a golfers opinion as well.
I believe I owe it to you to be honest about the advise I give and would never knowingly mislead you to sell you my golf products.
I have a full workshop at my disposal and this includes VECTOR launch monitor, ZELOCITY radar and V1 camera based software to analyse your swing. In the workshop I have FREQUENCY meter (for checking shaft flex) LOFT and LIE adjustment machine, swingweighting equipment as well as all the usual re-gripping and repair facilities.
I am a member of the GCA and so am in contact with other makers all the time as we look to forward the custom fitting ethos.

we also do repairs and change shafts as an after market repair.
The grip is arguably the most important part of the club and much overlooked. We undertake this with a view to re-gripping and checking the size of the grip is right for you a feature often ignored.
